While at the takeoff point, your pilot will give you safety briefing and instructions for boarding the balloon plus the landing procedures. At the time when the ground crew is unpacking the balloon, passengers may sip on a cup of coffee or tea as they see the cold rise of the balloon being supported by two large petrol powered fans that fill the balloon cold air. Your hovering directions change daily due to weather conditions.

When the balloon is inflated but motionless on its side, the ground, the crew will call you into the balloon whose size is vast. For about an hour, you will hang over the grassland of Queen Elizabeth Park. The balloon pilot will fly at changing heights above sea level to offer you diverse safari viewpoints using the wind tides at the fluctuating elevations. The balloon flight gives passengers countless photo prospects that are dissimilar from then usual safaris on the ground. As you mildly float over the park, you may watch the sun rise as plains below come to life with flora and fauna.

Upon landing from the balloon, the pilot together with passengers rejoices the flight with a glass of sparkling drinks as a tradition for the balloon flying. This celebration is followed passengers sitting down to a delicious Savannah breakfast by Mweya Safari Lodge, marking the end of the ballooning adventure in Queen Elizabeth National park.
