Kyambura Game Lodge is located at the eastern side of Queen Elizabeth National Park, in the western part of the great East African Rift valley, with fanciful outlooks over the national park and the Rwenzori Mountains and at a small distance from the Kyambura Gorge.
The lodge is very close to nice places where one can easily reach to enjoy his safari. There is kyambura gorge a place that is kwon for habituated chimps and this is chimpanzee tracking can be done. Maramagambo forest which is home to an appealing range of forest monkeys and birds, and herds of flamingo are inhabitant on the crater lakes. The lodge was been constructed using naturally pleasant native materials tailored by a local community workmanship
Kyambura Game Lodge comprises of 8 fantastic cottages with a amazing outlook of Kyambura Forest. All the cottages have reserved verandah where one can relax and chill out after a long day of traveling while appreciating the hundreds of miles of virgin landscape and wild nature.
The cottages are attractively planned grass-thatched cottages, self-sufficient with bath tabs/showers with outlooks to the park, running hot and cold water, fitted out with 220v electricity and a private wooden balcony on the edge over Queen Elisabeth National Park. All cottages are confidentially spread out in a hedging neighboring for appropriate environment management. There is a swimming pool, nearby the campfire where a local customary music galley is often performed.
There is other more services offered such as restaurant and all these places such as the bar, campfire and lounge are always opened towards a sun downer deck overseeing the park for lessening in the evenings while finishing up the day’s activities. The kitchen serves international and local food; several-course meals are mainly organized with organic vegetables from our own garden and served by the welcoming and skillfully qualified staff.
