Full Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls, Track Rhinos Enroute.
Set off from Kampala for Murchison falls national park. You will drive via Luwero, Nakasongola and Masindi district. On your way to the park, you will break off the highway to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos. You will spend 2-3 hours trekking and admiring rhinos. After this exercise, you will have lunch and continue with journey. Arrive at the park in the evening.
The trip will give you extensive eye-catching panoramas and then arrive at the park in the afternoon. Drive to the top of the falls where the Nile perfects its splendour. Here you will see the calm Nile dipping its self through a narrow gap to fall a gap of about 150 feet down mixing up out a loud white water, an incredible view! Day 02: Game Drive Safaris and Launch Cruise
After breakfast, start an early morning game drive before dawn to catch up with the early risers. After early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge, drive to the captivating Top of the Falls and leave for Kampala. The top of the falls is a wonderfully an eye-catching attraction as it’s where waters of River Nile, Africa’s the longest river forces itself through a narrow rock path (only 7 meters wide), before strikingly dipping down 43 meters. It is an incredible photo opportunity. After an hour or less at the top of the falls, go ahead with the day’s drive to Kampala where you will arrive in the evening. Lunch en route. Upon reaching Kampala, the driver will transfer you to your hotel either or drop you at Entebbe.

Murchison Falls National Park is among Uganda’s largest National Parks measuring about 3,840 square kilometres (1,480 sq mi) together with the neighbouring Bugungu Wildlife Reserve and Karuma Wildlife Reserve. The safari park is part of the 5,308 square kilometres (2,049 sq mi) that make up the wider Murchison Falls Conservation Area (MFCA).
This wider park is in Masindi District in western Uganda and in Amuru district in northern Uganda. The park is a habitat to many of African wild animals including Water buffalo, elephant, Crocodile, Lion, Leopard, Hippopotamus, Antelope, Giraffes, Uganda Kob, Oribi and other animals. The Nile River, within the park, is a home to a variety of water birds, including the uncommon Shoe bill stork.
