Lake Mburo Boat Trip

A Lake Mburo Boat Trip is fascinating water activity done alongside wildlife safaris in Lake Mburo National Park. This park is remains the country’s Savannah park and smallest conservation area in the relation to the other nine parks. The  destination stretches beyond into the Tanzanian plains consecrated with  a diversity of animal as beautiful Zebras, Impalas, Sitatunga and Eland the largest living Antelope in the wild among others. With plant species,  there is Acacia plant, a drought resistant specie that dominate the park.

The National park spread in the Kiruhura area includes four water bodies with a famous one of Mburo what a blessing to the tourism encounter in  the Ankole-Masaka corridor. Daily boat cruise trips are conducted by modern and classic vessels with help of the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) ranger guides and operators filled with amusing local folk stories and mind blowing facts on wildlife in the destination and surrounding communities. The normal gliding time to and back forth is estimated between 2-3 hours depending on the weather and tides/waves of water body. Not to be missed on this launch are the pools of hippos and crocodiles in close range as well as fantastic avian life surrounding the waters.
