13 Days Uganda Safari Tours
The destinations you will explore during this tour, include Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Murchison Falls National Park and Jinja.
Day One: Arrival in Uganda
Our driver picks you at the airport and briefs you about the country before you drive off for 40 km to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Sojovalo Hotel or Cassia Lodge.
Day Two: Kampala to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, leave Kampala by road in the morning head for beautiful Kabale hills and arrive in Bwindi in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/Engagi Lodge/ Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day three: Gorilla Trekking Tour in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early and get ready for a life time adventure of Gorilla Tracking. Have a briefing at the park offices before the rangers guide you deep into this chunky forest in hunt for the Gorillas. You will hike steeply but steadily until you will finally meet these pleasant creatures that will keep you amused with performances for a full hour. Go back to your Lodge for a delicious lunch and afterwards opt for a community walk. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day Four: Move to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, leave Bwindi and within three and half hours, you will be in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check into your Lodge, have lunch and head for Kazinga Channel. Enjoy the cruise while viewing animals drinking at the waters edge and plenty of bird life including migrant birds and flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana Safari Lodge, Simba Safari Lodge.
Day Five: Chimpanzee tracking and Game Drive
Wake up early and go for the darn game drive for flora and fauna like Leopards, Hyenas, Warthogs, Kobs, Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Forest Hog if fortunate sufficiently and many other small animals. Have lunch before going to Kyambura Forest for the Chimps. Dinner and breakfast at your Lodge .
Day Six: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Take a ride to Kibale after breakfast, arrive at the Park during Lunch hours. Check into your lodge and later go for the afternoon community walk or Bigodi walk. Dinner and overnight at Primates Lodge, Chimps Nest.
Day Seven: Tracking Chimps
Wake up prepared to meet the Kibale resident Chimps, briefing at the headquarters before embarking on the Chimp tracking tour. Have the afternoon to yourself, Dinner and breakfast at your Lodge.
Day Nine: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Start early for a drive to Murchison falls National Park via Hoima-Masindi. Reach the Park in the evening and have your Dinner and overnight at Paara Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Lodge/Sambiya River Lodge/Red Chili.
Day Ten: Game Drive and Boat
After breakfast, you will go for an early Morning drive in search of Lions, Leopards, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Buffalo, Oribi, Warthogs, Uganda Kobs and Elephant as well as many of the other animals. In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls meeting place for a lot of land mammals and birds. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.
Day Eleven: Return to Kampala
Drive to Kampala with stops en route and reach Kampala by late afternoon. Relax and memorize the trip at your hotel where Dinner and overnight are awaiting you.
Day Twelve: Jinja Tour and Rafting
Head east for Jinja in the morning. Do a half day white water rafting , Bungee jumping, visit the source of River Nile and then after transfer back to Kampala with a stop at Ssezibwa falls. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
