River Nile is the longest river in Africa stretching from Lake Victoria in Uganda to the Mediterranean Sea (Egypt) covering a length of 6,500km. A tour to the Nile will take you through another life of adventure. There is a golf course unwinding along the banks and the source of the Nile provides a pretty pivotal point to the flow of water from Lake Victoria. A boat ride out to Samuka Island is another trip of itself, not counting the beautiful fauna you will see along.
Day 1: Drive to Murchison
You are picked in the morning from your accommodation in Kampala and start a five hour drive to Murchison falls National Park. Then drive to the splendid top of the falls where you will enjoy your picnic lunch as you glance in awe at the powerful Nile forced into a seven Meter cleft to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascade. The Nile can be viewed at different points up to the Baker s Summit. Dinner and overnight at the Nile Camp-Top Class, Paraa Safari Lodge, Sambiya River Lodge-Mid Class or Paraa Rest Camp.
Day 2: Game Drive
After breakfast, start on a half-day game drive on the northern bank of the river Nile. Guided and escorted by a game ranger, you may go for a game walk while trailing animals and studying animal spoors. Fauna around this area includes Giraffe, Elephant, Hart beast, Lion, Uganda Kob, Oribi and a variety of Savannah and forest birds. In the afternoon after lunch, take a Nile Cruise for game viewing at close quarters. This is a heaven of the Hippo and Crocodiles. It is an enjoyable experience. Dinner and Overnight at the Nile Camp-Top Class, Paraa Safari Lodge, Paraa Rest Camp or Sambiya River Lodge.
Day 3: Primate Walk, return to Kampala
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer to Budongo forest for a half day Primate walk in search of primates. On the stride, you may see Black and white colobus monkey; Red tailed monkey, Baboon, Grey cheeked mangabeys or the chimpanzee. After lunch in enjoy another game drive on your way out of the park via Masindi and head to Kampala
